GQ Radio is always searching for fresh, quality South African and international independent music. To make the submission process fair, transparent, and efficient, we've partnered with Plugm8.io – a South African music submission platform designed specifically for independent artists and labels.

This ensures your music reaches our music directors without getting lost in a crowded inbox. How to Submit Your Music via Plugm8

1. Create Your Account - Visit Plugm8.io and create your Artist or Label profile.

2. Upload Your Release- Upload your radio-ready track along with all the required metadata.( Please Note: AI-generated music is not accepted and will be flagged and removed from the platform. )

3. Receive Real Feedback - GQ Radio reviews every submission directly through the Plugm8 platform. Once your submission has been reviewed, you'll receive an instant notification advising whether your track has been: Playlisted Shelved for future consideration Rejected, along with feedback explaining why.

This gives every artist valuable insight into the outcome of their submission.

You may also submit your music via email to compiler@gqradio.co.za.
However, we strongly encourage artists to use Plugm8.io, as it provides a structured submission process and guarantees you'll receive feedback on your submission.

Please note that due to the high volume of music we receive, if you submit via email and have not received a response within 6–8 weeks, please consider your submission unsuccessful.
